A federal judge on Monday denied special counsel Jack Smith’s request to file a confidential list of 84 witnesses in the classified documents case involving former President Donald Trump and his co-defendant Walt Nauta.
Smith’s motion, filed on Friday, sought to keep the list of witnesses a secret from Trump and forbid him from communicating directly with them about the case.
