The Department for Education (DfE) has confirmed it has launched an investigation into a school at the centre of an animal and gender identity row.
Education Secretary Gillian Keegan has ordered a senior colleague to head up the probe into Rye College after a leaked recording heard one of its teachers brand a pupil “despicable” for stating there were only two genders.
In a statement to The Epoch Times on Thursday, a DfE spokesperson said that following the “concerning” reports, Keegan has appointed a regional director to “establish the full details of the case and whether the school requires any additional support.”…
