Jean Chen, in her Opinion & Business article “A Mom’s Research: Who Are the Real Racists” of March 17, cites the work of Thomas Sowell, saying that black families were doing well before the descent into immorality in the U.S. in the 1960s and the subsequent anti-family federal government welfare policies, [which is] the source of much of the racism.
