Perhaps in response to comments here at The Epoch Times and elsewhere, declared Democratic Party presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has tweeted the following:
“Just to quell any speculation, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will I join Donald Trump on an electoral ticket. Our positions on certain fundamental issues, our approaches to governance, and our philosophies of leadership could not be further apart.”
Pretty emphatic, no?
But what does it mean?
Frankly, I’m not sure, but I do know this: Kennedy would stand no chance of winning the Democratic nomination if he had said otherwise.
I write this knowing full well that some of Kennedy’s thoughts on medical freedom are much closer to those of declared Republican candidates former President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and also of prospective candidate Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis than they are to those of President Joe Biden or any foreseeable Democratic nominee….
