The head of the Republican National Committee (RNC) says former President Donald Trump is free to not participate in the 2024 presidential debates.
Trump recently suggested he would skip the primary debates in part because of how polls suggest he has a large lead over other declared GOP candidates.
“That’s his choice. And every candidate is going to make that calculation,” Ronna McDaniel, head of the RNC, said in response while on “Fox News Sunday.”
“What I think the American people want to see is these candidates; they want to see what they’re articulating, and especially what is your plan to take us out of the misery of [President] Joe Biden,” she added….
