Here’s a simple recipe for Chicken Wings using ingredients consistent with your wheat-and grain-free lifestyle.
Be sure to choose a safe mayonnaise for the blue cheese dressing, one free of wheat flour and cornstarch, as well as other unhealthy additives. As a time-saver, you can purchase a blue cheese dressing that doesn’t contain any undesirable ingredients.
Be sure to eat the skin and dark meat!
Makes about 24–48 wings.
Wings ½ cup butter, melted
¾ cup hot-pepper sauce
2 tablespoons white or apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon sea salt
3 pounds chicken wings Blue Cheese Dressing 1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup crumbled blue cheese
1 cup sour cream
½ cup teaspoon sea salt
Celery and/or carrot sticks (optional) To make the wings: In a small bowl, combine the butter, hot sauce, vinegar, and salt. Mix well. Reserve ¼ cup and set aside.
