A loyal dog who sat in the same spot on his family’s driveway for seven years, waiting for his late owner to come home, has passed away at 12 years old. His family believes the dog and his owner have now reunited, and the sweet story has gone viral.
Lydia Crochet of Lake Charles, Louisiana, knew Rufus since he was a puppy after he was adopted by her father, John, and stepmother, Teresa. Lydia’s father was retired and loved to be outdoors and Rufus quickly became his right-hand man.
