Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) claims that then-presidential candidate Joe Biden misled Americans regarding the letter signed by 51 intelligence officials which alleged that Hunter Biden’s laptop contained Russian disinformation.
Jordan, who chairs the House Judiciary Committee, offered context about the events surrounding the story during an April 20 interview on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle,” after news broke that a special agent whistleblower from the IRS had information about the laptop investigation.
The lawmaker spoke about testimony before his committee by former CIA deputy director Michael Morell who was among the 51 signatories of the open letter (pdf) that said the explosive contents of a laptop purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden bore “classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”…
