LONDON—Faisal Shaukat, who runs an events management company, attended Shen Yun Performing Arts at Eventim Apollo on the evening of April 20.
This was the second time he had seen Shen Yun. “Every time I watch the show, it’s better, and bigger, and more beautiful than the previous one,” Shaukat said. “I’m always happy, and it’s really a joy to be part of such a performance.”
He gave his overall impression. “It’s definitely positive. I personally believe that the whole idea of the show is to revive the roots, the true culture of China,” he said.
“And everybody knows that this show is banned in China for various reasons. I really salute the production team, and everyone who are behind it, who has this courage to just try and give this new generation, the actual feeling of how the culture was. It’s always good to stay connected with the roots and revive that,” he said….
