KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan—On March 2, Shen Yun Performing Arts concluded its fourth consecutive full-house performance at Chih—The Hall of Kaohsiung Cultural Center.
Though the company is warmly welcomed in cities around Taiwan, its artists face a stream of interference from an internet disinformation campaign by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
For its focus on reviving Chinese traditional culture and exposing the oppression by China’s communist regime, Shen Yun is forbidden in China. Even abroad, the CCP frequently slanders Shen Yun attempting to stop audiences from attending the show.
