MIAOLI, Taiwan—A Taiwanese diplomat in education who serves as the president of a cultural association enjoyed Shen Yun at the Miaobei Art Center in Miaoli on Feb. 26. He said Shen Yun presents “very pure Chinese culture,” which is “rarely seen in the world.”
“Shen Yun shows the beauty of traditional Chinese culture and universal values by using dance,” said Mr. CJ Liu. “It’s encouraging to see upright people beat the evil in the dance. We should cherish these values, such as freedom, democracy, etc.”
Mr. Liu is the president of Association of International Cultural and Educational Exchange Taiwan (AICEE Taiwan). He was director of the International Culture and Education Division of Taiwan Education Ministry, and has worked as a diplomat in education in Washington and New York  and London….
