An internal Chinese metro system document reveals that China is embracing another wave of COVID-19 outbreak, as a fever wave hits Chinese schools across the country, causing many class suspensions.
Ms. Liang, who works in the Shanghai Metro system, told The Epoch Times on Feb. 21 that the Shanghai Metro epidemic prevention measures are being enforced again due to the new infections.
“The second wave of COVID-19 in Shanghai and Hangzhou have come again. Three schools in Hangzhou are having COVID-19 outbreaks, and a primary school in Shanghai Qingpu suspended classes for 4 days because of flu,” she said.
Liang said that the Shanghai Metro system has just issued an internal document about epidemic prevention measures. “The station head just sent us a document titled ‘Procedure to Handle COVID-19 Positive Passengers.’ It details the strict measures, but we don’t know when it will be implemented. They just told us to prepare for epidemic control and get familiar with the measures as soon as possible, and inform us that if the outbreak cannot be controlled, the procedure probably will be implemented in March.”…
