Recent research led by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health found that adhering to a healthy lifestyle prior to COVID infection can reduce the risk of long COVID by half. If the relationship is causal, 36 percent of long COVID would have been prevented if all participants kept a healthy lifestyle, said researchers.

Long-COVID symptoms can vary widely but may include fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pain, brain fog, and difficulty sleeping, among others. The condition can affect both people who experienced mild or severe cases of COVID-19.
