Key components have been recovered, according to the U.S. Northern Command regarding recovery efforts on the Chinese spy balloon. A senior State Department official noted the craft had “multiple antennas” mounted on it and was clearly meant for intelligence gathering and surveillance. The FBI is now combing through the pieces. China is still maintaining it was a weather balloon that flew off course, while questions swirl over the origin and purpose of the three other objects also shot down in the past week.
