MEMPHIS, Tenn.—Prior to attending Shen Yun’s matinee at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts on Jan. 29, physician Cameron Huxford and his wife Mary had no idea what to expect.
“[Chinese culture] is something that none of us were familiar with,” Dr. Huxford said, “we just thought it would be good for us and the children to see it.”
Exiting the theatre at the end of the evening with his family of eight, Dr. Huxford felt a renewed sense of hope.
