A UK artist makes precision cuts into colored paper to create sculptures of breathtaking detail. Her works depict multifarious forms from nature, and are so detailed you’d be forgiven mistaking them for entomological specimens in an exhibition. Starting her career as a graphic designer and animator, Lisa Lloyd from Sussex was based in London for many years. She was co-owner of a production company called Mr and Mrs Smith, but decided to branch out on her own. The artist craved something more hands-on.
