Commentary Yes, there are a few of us out here—conservative filmmakers, a term that’s not only an oxymoron these days, but also anathema to most of our colleagues. Which begs the question: Why do we do what we do? After all, we know how to make money in this business, we know how to write, we know how to pitch, we know how to produce and direct quality films.
