NISHINOMIYA, Japan—Shen Yun Performing Arts took to the stage at the Hyogo Performing Arts Center in Nishinomiya on Jan. 8, where the audience said Shen Yun was like medicine, which healed their souls and bodies.
“Finally, I experienced it for myself today: Exposure to beautiful things can really heal the soul,” said Mr. Sasaki Taiichi, a temple abbot, after attending Shen Yun.
Mr. Sasaki said that Shen Yun’s dances and music were beautiful and unique, which made him feel that even his physical body was energized.
“The dances are outstanding. They are magnificent. I enjoyed them a lot,” he said. “The music is astounding. The Western instruments perfectly present the Chinese-style pieces.”…
