Light up your door entrance using the power of the sun, and provide security and safety in an earth-friendly way with a solar-powered light. At night the light is powered by the sun and three (NiMH) rechargeable batteries that have an estimated life of two years. It turns on and off automatically as the sun rises and sets, and it can provide up to 12 continuous hours of light output. That power depends on the amount of sunlight the solar panel receives and stores.
The unit is composed of two parts: the light unit that contains the high efficiency light and batteries and a separate solar panel. The light can be installed on exterior house siding, near the door or above house numbers to illuminate them. Choose a location where the solar panel gets as much sunlight as possible and where the light does the best job of illuminating house numbers. The solar panel can be mounted on the light or moved up to 15 feet from the light so it can be placed in the most efficient location to capture the sunlight….
