A woman is being questioned by police about the suspicious death of a baby girl at a unit in south Brisbane last month. The 32-year-old woman was interviewed at Morningside Police Station on December 27 about the death of the five-month-old at a home in Annerley between November 15 and 16. Detective Acting Inspector Rod Watts won’t say if the woman is related to the baby, but confirmed they both lived at the unit complex where the baby was found dead. “I’m not prepared to go into the details of the relationship,” he told reporters on Sunday. Det Insp Watts said forensic pathology tests have not been completed, so the cause of death is unknown, but officers believe it was not natural causes.
