On Dec. 10, a sampan sank in an accident near Wang Lang Island, Hong Kong. Two people in the sampan fell into the sea. One person was safe, while the other went missing.
At 9:45 a.m. on Dec. 11, a ship passing by the lighthouse of Wang Lang Island, in the Eastern waters of Hong Kong, discovered and saw someone in the sea wearing a life jacket. Crew members rescued the male and then contacted the police
Hong Kong Marine, coast guards for Hong Kong waters, arrived at the scene after the report. The police confirmed that a 50-year-old man named Wong Pang was the person missing from the sampan accident. He was not injured upon preliminary examination….
