Election law battles are underway in California. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that an election integrity case has standing to challenge the constitutionality of California’s election laws, regulations, policies, and procedures in federal court. The case involves complaints from congressional candidates in 13 counties across California.
Georgia’s highest court ruled on Wednesday that the state can enforce a law banning abortion after six weeks of pregnancy — while the state appeals a lower court order striking it down. The state law that took effect last summer was challenged by Planned Parenthood and other abortion access groups.
