Orange County resident turnout was 33.6 percent in the Nov. 8 General Election, according to unofficial results from the Orange County Registrar of Voters.
Out of 1,817,149 registered voters, 611,060 cast ballots—either by mail, submitting their ballot at a certified drop box, or by voting in person at a vote center.

38th District
Democrat Linda T. Sanchez had 50.3 percent of the vote, compared to Republican Eric J. Ching with 46.7 percent.
40th District
Incumbent Republican Young Kim led with 59.2 percent of the vote over Democrat Asif Mahmood, who was at 40.8 percent….
