CBS hosts were shocked that they couldn’t find a single supporter of Florida’s Democratic gubernatorial nominee Charlie Crist in areas President Joe Biden reportedly won in 2020.
Crist is running against popular Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis in the Sunshine State, a previously purple state that many predict is about to turn deep red.
“CBS This Morning” co-host Tony Dokoupil said he shared meals with voters up and down Florida’s coast in areas he said voted for Biden in 2020. To his shock, Floridians in those areas praised DeSantis as a “beast” who “doesn’t BS around.” Dokoupil was eventually forced to admit he couldn’t find any Crist supporters during this trip….
