The National Hurricane Center (NHC) issued warnings for Subtropical Storm Nicole along Florida’s eastern coast for later this week.
Nicole, which is forecast to turn into at least a Category 1 hurricane later this week, is predicted to impact Florida on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, according to an NHC model. The system, located in the western Atlantic Ocean, is currently hundreds of miles northeast of the Bahamas.
