Pennsylvania Republican gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano warned this weekend of October “suppression polls” designed to reduce turnout during the 2022 midterms.
While Mastriano did not cite any specific polls for Pennsylvania’s races in 2022, he told Newsmax that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis—who is backing his election campaign—warned him weeks ago.
“DeSantis in August when he came here to campaign for me in Pittsburgh, he’s like, ‘Doug, stay away from the polls in October, because they’re going to show you behind,’ just like they showed him behind,” Mastriano told the outlet. “This time last year they had [Virginia GOP Gov.
