If you want to successfully lose weight without relapse, two principles should be followed, diet control and regular exercise. A Taiwanese nutritionist, Pang Yi-shan, revealed that the effort ratio should be 70 percent on diet control and 30 percent on exercise in order to lose weight. Diet control not only meant the intake of fruits or vegetables solely but also 5 types of food.
1. High-Quality Protein
It can construct and repair our tissues besides providing satiety. Legumes and low-fat meat can be chosen, such as unsweetened soy milk, tofu, edamame, chicken chest, chicken thigh (without skin), and seafood.
2. Fruits and Vegetables
They contain dietary fibers and phytochemicals, which promote satiety and intestinal peristalsis. Mushrooms, leafy vegetables, gourd, and algae can be the options. Fruits with a low glycemic index (GI) are suggested, including apples, guavas, kiwi fruits, and cherry tomatoes….
