WEST PALM BEACH, Florida—A key document that led to the approval of the search warrant FBI agents executed on former President Donald Trump’s home in Florida will remain shielded from the public for now.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart delayed a decision on the matter so that he can review government-proposed redactions to the document, the search warrant affidavit.
Reinhart heard from government lawyers, which oppose the release of the affidavit, and attorneys representing media outlets during a hearing in federal court on Aug. 18.
Reinhart said during the hearing that there may be information that is so sensitive that he will decide it should remain hidden from the public….
