Dozens of clinics in U.S. states have stopped performing abortions in the 100 days since the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade, according to a new analysis.
In 15 states that have imposed complete or six-week abortion bans, 66 clinics have stopped offering abortions, according to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute. Twenty-six of the clinics have shut down, including the Jackson Women’s Health Organization in Mississippi, while the others are still performing other services.
The only clinics that were operating in those states before the Supreme Court decision that are still offering abortion are all located in Georgia.
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin now have zero such clinics….
