When a 6-year-old boy’s wallet was stolen by a woman at a Walmart last week, he was left devastated. The wallet had contained $200 in Christmas and birthday money that he received as gift money. But the Chandler Police Department was able to bring a smile to the boy’s face once again; they all pitched in to buy him a new wallet and replace the missing $200. The 6-year-old had dropped his wallet while shopping with his mother at the store at Arizona Avenue and Pecos Road on Dec. 30, 2020. According to ABC, store surveillance video shows a woman picking it up around 9 p.m. and walking off without attempting to return it to the boy.
