LONG BEACH, Calif.—A series of stabbings in Long Beach Oct. 17 left a woman dead, three men injured, and a man in custody, police said.
The first stabbing occurred about 5:35 a.m. in the 1100 block of Atlantic Avenue, Brandon Fahey of the Long Beach Police Department told City News Service.
A woman with stab wounds to her upper body was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Fahey said. Her name was withheld, pending notification of her relatives.
Around 6:25 a.m., officers were sent to the 700 block of Olive Avenue on a report of a stabbing. A man with stab wounds to his upper body was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries….
