A 26-year-old man suspected of burglarizing a home in Irvine was arrested at his home in Fontana where over $125,000 in cash and the victim’s watch were found, police said on July 7.
Officers responded at around 12:30 a.m. July 5 to a report about a residential burglary on Iluna near Gravity in the Altair community, according to Irvine Police Department Sgt. Karie Davies.
The victim returned to his home around midnight and noticed the rear sliding door was opened and he was missing cash and jewelry, Davies said.
Detectives obtained surveillance footage from the scene that revealed a silver Honda Odyssey minivan tailgating another vehicle into the gated community at around 9:15 p.m. on July 4….
