Multiple people were shot in downtown Atlanta on May 3, authorities in Georgia said.
The shooting took place at 1110 West Peachtree Street Northwest, the site of a hospital facility, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Police said one person died at the scene and at least three others were injured. Officials at a nearby hospital said they received four victims.
“We were anticipating up to 12 patients; fortunately we only received four,” Dr. Robert Jansen, chief medical officer at Grady Health Systems, told reporters outside the hospital.
